There have been good times and bad – good rain and no rain. What keeps us going is that we know how good it can be – and the pictures are testimony to this.
The Kirkdale property nestles in a valley of the Nanima Creek. Surrounded by hills – some cleared, some natural Eucalyptus bushland – most of the land has been cleared of dense tree plantings, to allow for the grazing of sheep. The soils, for the most part, are not particularly fertile, with several seams of granite rock and gravel running through.
